Delaware Valley Community Health, Inc opened the Fairmount Primary Care Center at St. Joseph’s Hospital on May 2nd, 2011. The center was opened to assist the adult individuals who have been using the emergency room in addition to new residents of the North Philadelphia area who do not have a primary care physician. The center is also open to any adults who are in need of a primary care physician to provide for their comprehensive medical treatment needs, as well as their families, other community members as well as St. Josephs Employees. All patients will have access to other health services such as pediatrics, prenatal care, gynecological, dental, behavioral health, social work and health education at the closely located Fairmount Primary Care Center at 1412 Fairmount Avenue by walking in or calling 215-235-9600 to schedule an appointment.
